Bread and
Butter Implants for General
Dental Practice:
Our
most attended course, the
two-day "Bread and Butter"
course teaches you how to
recognize, plan, and place
dental implants in common
situations you encounter every
day in your practice.
After the morning lecture,
you will have an opportunity to
practice placing implants in a
variety of simulated clinical
situations, using "dummy"
implants in synthetic bone.
Meanwhile, our business and
clinical team members will help
your staff understand insurance
billing, financing options,
scheduling, clinical setup,
sterilization, and other implant
procedures to help your implant
clinical day move smoothly and
profitably.
The
second morning, we'll
meet as a group to review and
plan the actual patient cases
you and your coursemates have
brought for implant placement.
Special attention is paid to
making your planned surgical
placement predictable, safe, and
enjoyable for all involved.
Later that afternoon, we'll
all "glove up" and put your
learning and planning to use.
Our experience has shown that
the first implant is the hardest
for most general dentists.
We'll be at your side, guiding
you through the process for your
first successful implant
placement. After
we're all done for the
afternoon, we'll once again meet
as a group to review our patient
outcomes, and review the
surgical process as a further
learning experience.
Hosting a Bread
and Butter course in your
office is easy, all you have to do is
show up. We bring
everything needed, from surgical
kits, implants, drill units,
patient drapes, calipers, etc.
It's all in the bag, so relax
and enjoy getting to know your
neighbors and colleagues, while
learning together how to place
implants as a routine procedure
in your general dental practice.
