Advanced Surgical Course.

The advanced surgical course is a 2-day course given in our training facility in Bakersfield, California.   At the advanced surgical course, you will have an opportunity to learn and practice advanced bone grafting techniques, including block grafts, particulate grafts, as well as direct and lateral window sinus lift surgery.

Depending on the availability and suitable patient cases, participants may perform surgery on pig mandibles and sinuses, may observe live surgery, or may perform surgery for their own patients.

Participants in the advanced surgical course should have experience placing and restoring dental implants, either through prior participation in the "Bread and Butter" and Restorative courses from GP Implants, or from other learning and clinical experiences.  Participants in the Advanced Surgical course should have sufficient experience to allow them to be comfortable with basic surgical procedures, including flap reflection and suturing.

Participation in the Advanced Surgical course is currently limited to GP Implant instructors.
